Phishing Scheme using Beeple's Twitter to Steal $400k in Cryptocurrency and NFTs!

Last weekend, hackers used Beeple's Twitter account to steal $400,000 in cryptocurrency and NFTs from the illustrator's followers and supporters. A MetaMask security analyst identified the hack when the artist reportedly began marketing a raffle for NFT artwork. Scammers emptied their wallets one Ether at a time once they clicked the link.

The perpetrators, on the other hand, were only getting started. Only an hour later, they released a second link that brought in another $360,000 in crypto and NFTs, including the highly sought-after Mutant Apes.
