Special envoy of S. Korea’s delegation to World Economic Forum calls for virus aid to N. Korea

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, South Korea's special envoy called for COVID-19 aid to North Korea.
Speaking with the CEO of GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance, Na Kyung-won expressed concerns over the recent virus outbreak in Pyeongyang and explained South Korea's policy to provide medical assistance to the North.
They exchanged views on the need for a joint international response to help the regime contain the virus.
The former lawmaker also met with the WTO Director-General and President of the World Economic Forum to discuss pressing issues, such as the ongoing global supply chain crunch and energy crisis.
