Albania 2021 | Tirana Capital Tour | Eastern Europe | Balkains Destinations | Walking Tour

We arrive back to the capital of Albania for the second time. This time we make our way to the city center unlike previous visits and stay two nights at AS Tirana Hotel.
We had our list of places to see and walked around the city checking each location out and taking in the street views along the way. Making sure to stop at a cafe often to sip coffee and stay warm.
We viewed places like Skandereg Square, Bunk' Art, the Pyramid of Tirana, Mother Teresa Square and even police check points for masks.
By mid-day we were in the Grand park of Tirana where Julia was quizzing me hard on words I need to learn in Russian.
Later that night we seeked out a mexican resturant 30-minutes walk from out hotel, just to discover it was not longer there. No problem, we ate at Joena Lounge just near by.
Both Julia and I were impressed by the city and to also learn about its plans to get ready for tourism moving forward. Lucky us, we just missed the biggest snow storm by just a few days. Both of us were happy to be back in Albania and more excited to get back to Sarande.
