Battle Ground's Kaden Perry named to Nike Hoop Summit Team

Battle Ground High School standout Kaden Perry is receiving more national attention for his skills on the basketball court. The senior was named to the USA Nike Hoop Summit Team. The game takes the best high schoolers from America and puts them against the best high schoolers from the rest of the world. Sadly, however, the game will not be played this year. USA Basketball said it was important to recognize the players anyway. The organization looks forward to these players being part of national teams in the future.
Perry has signed with Gonzaga University. By the way, there are still plans for high school basketball in Southwest Washington this year. Practice at Battle Ground begins April 12th.
