Dr Paul Mason, in this part of his interview in the HVMN podcast, explains how LDL can become damaged and then cause problems by lodging in the small blood vessels. Unless it is damaged, by oxidation or other means, it is healthy for us and is critical to our health. He cited a study in which those who are not able to reverse fatty deposits in their blood vessels had LDL levels 50% lower than those who were able to reverse plaque.
