Lies in Elections. Perfect Example, the Race for Alabama’s Supreme Court

Friends, elections in America can get vicious. They start out nice as candidates make their case. As the elections draws closer, the attack ads start. Usually, these attack ads are done by outside groups, PACS, in which the other candidates have no control over what is said in ads by these outside parties.

Occasionally a contender’s campaign will be so desperate that his campaign will just lie about the opponent. And yes, sometimes it gets to the point of being comical! Here is a great example in the race for the Alabama Supreme Court seat. Full disclosure – I have known Judge Debra Jones as a personal friend for over 10 years, so I knew the inside story to this.

And if you ever heard the phrase “Don’t’ believe everything you read on the internet,” it is especially true during election season.
