U.N.: Blocked Ukraine ports 'war on global food security'

Failure to open Ukraine’s ports is a “declaration of war on global food security,” the U.N. food chief said on Monday (May 23) as he called for the port of Odesa to be opened to help tackle the crisis. Speaking at the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, David Beasley described the situation as “crisis mode.”
