Johnson visited the plant for the production of NLAW anti-tank missiles, which London supplies to Ukraine. And he said that the main goal is to increase jobs for the British in a crisis, so more missiles need to be produced.

‘Hi guys, I’m here at the Thales factory in Belfast, where I spoke to people who are building history-changing weapons.

You may know that this is the factory that produced all the NLAWs we supply to Ukraine to help defend against Putin's invasion.

They were made by about 20 thousand. Thousands left the UK directly to help the Ukrainians, thanks to the work of Thales employees here.

About 700 people work here. This contributes to the creation of high paying and highly skilled jobs here in Northern Ireland. This is a growing business, and it is becoming promising.

It is these enterprises that are critical to the prospects of young people who live in our country’
