How a Penny Smashing Machine Works - Coin Elongation Machine Video

In this video I show off my penny smashing machine and explain how it works. This coin elongation machine was purchased secondhand and I do not know how to obtain more coin smashers. A penny smasher or coin elongation machine is a tool that allows you to take regular pennies and turn them into elongated cents. Elongated coins can have any design on them that you want them to. In this video I show how I like to use silver coins so that the final result is a pure silver smashed "penny" rather than a traditional copper or zinc smashed penny. My personal penny smashing machine is able to smash many different denominations. I think that elongated coins machines are really sweet and I am very happy to be the proud owner of one. I hope that the coin smashing hobby is able to live on for many years to come.
