Galway V Hubbard | C64 Retro Gaming | The Gaming Chronicles

The Commodore 64 was not only a brilliant games machine but it was also an incredible instrument thanks to it containing the SID chip. There are many great musicians for the Commodore 64 but few can deny how fantastic both Rob Hubbard and Martin Galway were during the 1980's, creating many great soundtracks between them. In this clip Martin Galway talks about when working at Ocean in 1985 he first discovered that he had some serious competition when one day a colleague gave him a cassette tape for a new game called 'Thing on a Spring'.

This clip was requested because of the recent episode of Brothers in Arms featuring Anthony and his brother Stephen where they play games from their youth and while waiting for Ikari Warriors to load they ended up talking about Martin Galway and his rivalry with Rob Hubbard and Anthony recalled a deleted clip from the movie From Bedrooms to Billions.
