Soul Speak #07 (Jun 11, 2020) Thoughts on Ezekiel 47 Waters - Coming into Conscious God Awareness

Sharing some random inspiration from this morning on the 'waters' of Ezekiel 47.

3 And when the man went out to the east with the line in his hand, he measured one thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the water came up to my ankles.
4 Again he measured one thousand and brought me through the waters; the water came up to my knees. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through; the water came up to my waist.
5 Again he measured one thousand, and it was a river that I could not cross; for the water was too deep, 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙬𝙞𝙢, a river that could not be crossed.

To me, this vision speaks of the living waters flowing out of the temple of God, which temple of course is you and me (the physical body).

By the way, the scientist Gregg Braden conducted a fantastic experiment by matching the numerical values of the ancient languages to the periodic tables and the message in every line of our DNA spells out "God Eternal Within The Body". I will post that video in a separate comment for you, if you are interested.

But back to Ezekiel's vision of the waters... these waters in my understanding represent the levels (ankle, waist, above head) of awareness (consciousness) of God within us.

I want to bring this back into the arena of Christian belief and understanding. The 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 of Christian belief for the most part (most of the past 2000 years) has been ankle or knee deep, in fact what happened at Pentecost was a representation of 𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒍𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒆𝒑 rivers.

For centuries it was believed to be the model we should aspire to, and we kept 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 there to get some of that, but 𝒅𝒆𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 than that was to come. I see the 𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒂𝒏 of God awareness breaking in on Christianity, and soon these 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 will cover the entire earth of humanity.

Christianity has been plagued with stagnant, standing water for too long and become a little odious for drinking. Essentially, what happened (at least with the message that came along to many of us); the veil that was rent in the Jewish temple being symbolic of separating mankind from God, Christianity has put back in place!

And we have in fact turned 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩 into that very veil of separateness. We have told the world that "you must believe in Jesus Christ in order to be united with God". Many of you reading this will probably not be able to capture what I am saying and be appalled at my words. But can you not see the irony?

The point of Jesus Christ was to remove 𝙖𝙡𝙡 barriers to the Father, not establish a new one. So, we need to ask ourselves... what are we missing here? Has our vision of Christ been too small, too exclusive and prevented the waters of becoming an ocean of healing waters for all of humanity?
