1.John 4:17 Love has been perfected (consummated) among us in this: that we may have boldness (all-outspokenness, frankness, bluntness) in the day of judgment; (((𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬, 𝐬𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝.)))

I invite you to ponder this phrase in the parenthesis...

"As He is, so are we in this world." What exactly does that say?
How IS HE (right this present moment?)**, and SO are we in this world (right at this present moment)?

I will add the 1st Person Singular for better understanding.
As He is (𝗜 𝗔𝗠) = are we (𝗔𝗠 𝗜) in this world.

If you are feeling the ire rising in you slightly, you are getting a first hand taste of what it was like to be a Pharisee in Jesus' day.
It's this kind of statement that got Jesus crucified, John boiled in oil, Paul beheaded, Thomas roasted in an iron ox and so on.

These men did not wander around the world proclaiming religious ideals, they demolished them with the "I AM" truth. I am not saying it, they did. I am just repeating what they said.

** PS: I just looked up what 'He' means in the original Greek.. 'that One there, yonder'...so, as He is in His glorified state, SO are we 𝗻𝗼𝘄 in THIS world. Wrap your mind around that one for a minute.
