Growing up in Baltimore Maryland in the 1980's was certainly different than it is today. My father worked for General Motors. He was a proud Union Pipefitter. He wasn't college-educated, but he was worldly enough to see his way of life quickly being replaced by the cheap slave labor of China and the 3rd World. Maybe it's time we get back to that better time.
