RCMP Commissioner testified she never requested Emergencies Act

Last week, the RCMP Commissioner testified that she had never requested the invocation of the Emergencies Act and that she could think of no other law enforcement body requesting it either. In fact earlier today the Ottawa chief of police confirmed that they never asked the Liberals to invoke the Emergencies Act either. This testimony flies in the face of the Minister of Public Safety' S repeated claim that law enforcement requested the invocation of the Act.
