Willow, from Oregon, US, is known for her extreme gothic aesthetic, which includes a painted white face, fangs, and heavy dark eye makeup. Willow is no stranger to judgment and thinks her bravest critics are those online due to people being “a little too nervous” to approach her. Willow started her Instagram to overcome her PTSD which she was diagnosed with a few years ago. She decided she could no longer hide away and “jumped into the fire” by posting herself on the internet. “I was really scared the first time a photo of mine went viral, but I kept going!” Willow, who has had people ask if she’s a boy or threaten to throw garlic at her, has only one message for her haters: “I’m going to be here to stay, so you might as well get used to it!”
