Recently Forbes had the gall to publish an article titled, I shit you not, “You Must Not ‘Do Your Own Research’ When It Comes To Science”. I am just going to say based on my age at this time that likely a lot of my Science Teachers have passed on by now and I expect that headline has them spinning in their graves. My request of you today is to always question everything, always do your own research and always get the most articulate and well sourced arguments from both sides of any debate. The fact that this is becoming far more difficult to do as decanting voices are silenced vs. debated should tell you exactly why this is so important today. Do this in all things, not just science but above all when it comes to science, please take this final statement to heart.

Science is not an authority and it is not an institution it is a process. Anything that is not a process is not and can never be science.
