Save Me, Save Tonight, Save This Segue

Gooseneck and Eagle Eye Cherry are today's participants into today's Segue City Special as we explore saving as a theme for songs and segues. We need someone to save us from going to the bakery and getting one of those bohunker doughnuts that could feed a family of four for a week... not necessarily a bad thing in these inflationary times...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
