Understanding Facebook's Cryptocurrency Libra
Mark Zuckerberg recently tried to create his own cryptocurrency for Facebook called Libra.
Facebook planned a private currency implemented as a cryptocurrency. The currency and network do not exist yet, and only rudimentary experimental code has been released.
The point was to create something more like PayPal than Bitcoin, and as ambitious as the project is, it has some incredible benefits, especially for those in third world countries
