Picking his First Pet Snake

Is a BLOOD Python the best first pet snake for a kid? We're about to find out. My son has decided, at the ripe age of 8, that he would like to care for his very first pet snake. We happen to have had a few blood python babies hatch out recently. He will be picking from those baby snakes. How will he decided which one to pick? Maybe he'll pick the one that bites him the least. Maybe he'll pick the snake with one eye. Only one way to find out.
