Range drills today with the Patrol Rig...

I challenged myself with some range drills today wearing the Smersh LBE as a patrol setup. Worked in mag changes and shooting from different positions. Had a literal blast.

Things learned:
-mag changes with an AK in the prone is harder than with an AR.
-getting prone with an LBE enables you to get a few inches closer to the ground
-quick return of fire on a breaking contact drill is not as easy as it seems

Practice mag changes from every position possible and with your kit. Sometimes going a little slower is faster in the long run. Bottom line, GET OUT THERE AND TRAIN.
