The obelisk in honor of Soviet soldiers in Riga, Latvia was painted in the colors of the flag of Ukraine

Someone tried to remove the words "liberators" in the inscription "Glory to the liberators of the city of Riga". The monument is dedicated to the crossing of Lake Kishezers by the Red Army, who, having occupied a bridgehead, began to liberate Riga.
