Maija interviews Attorney Dafna Tachover, a leading attorney in America and Israel fighting against the roll out of 5G and raising awareness of the public health threats of wireless technologies.

This is PART 1 of our wireless series where Dafna takes us on a journey through time on how electromagnetic frequencies have been studied and the now irrefutable conclusions that such frequencies do indeed cause biological harms to human beings.

Dafna Tachover is an attorney, an expert on the issue of 5G & Wireless harms and the founder of We Are The Evidence, an organization which advocates for the protection of the rights of the many adults and children who have been injured by wireless technology, including from 5G. In 12/2019 she was hired by Children’s Health Defense (CHD) to start its 5G & Wireless Harms Project, which she led until 10/2021.

Dafna is an attorney in NY and Israel. She has a technology background from her service as a Telecommunication and Computers Officer in the Israeli Defense Forces. Since 2012, after becoming injured herself from wireless technology, Dafna has been one of the leading experts and advocates on the wireless harms issue globally and has been working on the federal, state and local levels, educating, lobbying and awakening communities around the country.

Dafna has led crucial litigation on this issue. During her time at CHD she initiated and led CHD’s historic win against the Federal Communications Commision (FCC) challenging the agency’s obsolete health and safety guidelines. She has also led CHD’s challenge of the FCC OTARD rule amendment that allows the installation of base station antennas on homes while preempting all state and zoning laws. In February the court ruled against CHD in this case. In 2012, Dafna initiated and led a Supreme Court case in Israel to replace the use of Wi-Fi in schools with wired networks, a case that led to the first limitations on Wi-Fi use in schools worldwide.

Dafna has been featured and interviewed by CNN; Time Magazine; New York Magazine; Newsweek; The Epoch Times; and RT and many other media outlets in the US and around the world, and has participated in documentaries on the topic, including in the award winning movie Generation Zapped.

Dafna’s Cases:

2020-2021 - Wireless Health Guidelines Case - In 2020 I filed a case against the FCC for its decision not to review its 1996 health guidelines regarding wireless, including 5G. We won this case on 8/13/2021. The DC Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit ruled that the FCC decision not to review its guidelines is capricious, arbitrary and not evidence based. Until the FCC provides an analysis of the science on this issue and explains why, despite the thousands of studies that show harm, their guidelines are adequate, they cannot be considered or be used as an assurance of safety. This is a landmark case and decision. Unfortunately because of Telecom’s control of the media, the ruling is not getting the exposure it deserves.

2021-2022 - OTARD Case - Challenge to the FCC OTARD rule amendments allowing base station antennas on homes while preempting all state & zoning laws including application, requirement for notice or permit. It essentially removes ALL due process rights. We lost this case on 2/11/2022. We will likely appeal the decision as the court ignored the due process issue and erred on legal issues.

2022 - Smart Meters Case - We filed an Amicus Brief with the PA Supreme Court on behalf of 81 organizations challenging the interpretation of a PA law as a smart meter mandate, including the denial of disability accommodations for those who are adversely affected by these meters. We are awaiting a decision in this case.

2012-2015 - Supreme Court Case in Israel against Wi-Fi in Schools - In 2012 I filed a case in the Israeli Supreme Court against various government agencies, asking the court to issue an injunction to ban the use of Wi-Fi in schools and to order the government to require schools to use wired networks instead. Although we lost the case, I was still able to force the government to adopt limitations on the use of Wi-Fi. Israel has become the first country to adopt such measures. Wi-Fi was banned in schools for children up to the age of 6, and limitations were put on its use up to the 3rd grade.
