The second single from the Undercover album, "She Was Hot" finds Mick Jagger singing about romantic encounters in New York, Detroit and Chicago. Jagger called it an "on-the-road song," saying at the time of release: "I hate road songs normally but that's your experience so you draw on it."
Chuck Leavell, formerly of the Allman Brothers Band, played keyboards along with Ian Stewart.
The B-side to the single is "I Think I'm Going Mad," an outtake from the Emotional Rescue sessions.
