Shooting in California church kills at least one, wounds five

One person was killed and five others wounded after a man opened fire inside a church in California on Sunday.

The confirmed injured victims of the shooting where four Asian men, ages 66, 75, 82 and 92, and one woman aged 86, also Asian.

The shooting happened at Geneva Presbyterian Church in Laguna Woods.

Footage filmed by Alana Geiger shows a police helicopter at the scene as well as several police vehicles and fire engines.

The suspect, now in custody, was detained by members of the congregation, after they tied his legs with an extension chord.

The suspect is believed to be an Asian man in his 60s.
