They have worked for print, radio and television outlets in Europe, United States and the Middle East. Steve has won two awards for excellence in journalism -- one in Israel and the other in the United States. For much of his career, he has focused on defense and strategy, working as a correspondent for Jane's Defence Weekly, Defense News and The Jerusalem Post.

Elly has focused on religious affairs and has worked for U.S. Radio News, Newsfront and radio outlets in Europe. For 18 years, Elly and Steve operated Middle East Newsline, a daily news service that focused on defense, security and energy in the region. This is their first book.
