A social worker says that a man who cheats and causes a divorce is not a good role model for his children, and should not be awarded 50/50 custody of his children because "he has poor judgment." Gentleman, this is completely representative of the type of biases that are against you. You have NEVER heard that a woman should lose custody of her children if she cheats on her husband. The whole point of this channel is to expose you to the things I have seen on a daily basis in these family law courtrooms throughout my career as a divorce attorney. The family law system will use any excuse and justification to deny men their RIGHT to have shared, 50/50 custody of the children they have with the mothers. Fathers are immediate second-class citizens in family courts.

Everyone needs to understand that a bad spouse is not necessarily a bad parent. A spouse and a parent are two different concepts. Even if a father cheats on his wife, even if the father does not love the wife anymore, that has no relation at all to the love that he has for his son or daughter. The starting point in ALL custody cases should be 50/50, and then, if there is a need to assign "visitation" to one person or the other, then fine. But no man should automatically have to FIGHT just for 50/50 custody of his own children that he shares with the mother.

And, just for the record, the social worker and The Lead Attorney are all good--no hard feelings. Just a difference of opinion.
