Spread The Word
(Acts 8:1-4 NKJV)
'Now Saul was consenting to his death. At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him. As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering every house, and dragging off men and women, committing them to prison. Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. '

I. How Do We Start? (Acts 1:8)
• Good Morning! I am so glad that you are here today.
• To day we are starting a new sermon series :The Power Of Your Words”
• As we examine our text, we see that there is a problem that is being presented.
• ? When you are going to do something, when is the best way to go?
• Expound on the difference between the two ways.
• Listen to what Jesus Says in Acts 1L8

II. Unconventional Motivation (Rom. 10:14-15)
• As we continue to look at our text we’re concerned.
• I mean here are the believers and they are being persecuted for their faith.
• ? Are we not experiencing the same issues today?
• Do you see the dynamic of what is happening?
• Reflect back on the statement that Jesus made.
• As Saul was attacking the church, God had a plan in place.
• Listen to what the Apostle Paul says in Romans 10:14-15

III. The Power At Work.
• As we come to the end of the text today, we see a lot.
• Jesus make a statement that come true. If you look at Verse 5 & 26 of Acts we see that the Gospel spreads out the areas that Jesus Mentions.
• ? So where is God sending you? Where is God leading you to go?
• We need to remember that there is power in the words that we say.
• Choose Jesus Today!!
