Paul, Tom, and Janice agree that this 1979 film is a Blue Pill father's rights movie--with powerful scenes of the father-son bond--but disagree about the degree of its sympathy for Joanna, the mother who abandons her son; we also note the film's inadequate treatment of the realities of custody disputes.
