Great Danes cheer on funny doggy swimming lesson

With her family & friends cheering her on, Ellie the Great Dane takes the plunge into the pool & everyone realizes that swimming is not an instinctive dog ability. Watch as 5 1/2 year old Ellie floats, but makes no attempt to swim & then with encouragement & the safety of her life jacket, gives the dog paddle a try back to the pool ramp. Great Danes especially are known for sinking, not swimming, which is why life jackets & swimming lessons are so important if they don't start swimming as young puppies. Ellie will be opting for the lounge chair while watching 9 month old littermates Maddie, Reve and Remmy enjoy more of their fun swimming lessons.
