Pre-garden look! March 16, 2022

(update on the pepper seeds: Stan threw out the never-sprouted seeds in the potting soil from Costco, bought another bag of soil from the local feed mill and replanted. Thankfully, he had enough seeds left to replant. If they sprout, I'll make another video. I meant "when." When they sprout...)

Welcome back after a long winter! We've had two lovely sunny days of 70 degrees so I'm going to pretend winter is over! Stan has been busy pruning our fruit trees and we've been carrying branches over to the empty hog lot. Because they froze out last May and didn't bear any fruit, they put all their energy into growing more branches! yikes! The asparagus is still playing dead. I tried to poke it awake by fertilizing it. Still looks dead...
Stan started some peppers inside, but it's not looking good. He's afraid he got bad potting soil--that's happened once before. Snow peas can be planted April 1st around here, so that might be the first thing in the garden.
