Pipe Poems: My Favorite Chair

My favorite Chair
The snow came in heavy and covered the town
The storm that blew through slowed everything down
But the view out my window demands that I stare
While I puff on my pipe in my favorite chair

The limbs of the trees hang heavy with snow
The winds gone a way no longer to blow
The scene so iconic with a calm in the air
While I puff on my pipe in my favorite chair

My fireplace roars in a soft kind of way
Producing the warmth that keeps me today
And just for a moment I relax without care
As I puff on my pipe in my favorite chair

The painting beheld is a true sight to see
A couple walks by taking no notice of me
And I catch them take pause with the moment they share
As I puff in my pipe in my favorite chair

And spring will come soon in it’s own special way
With as much divine artwork on a much warmer day
That too I will cherish the view beheld there
As I puff on my pipe in my favorite chair
