Garden Update for May 14, 2022

Brand new to Rumble! I had two other garden videos in the past week but the garden has changed so much with this 80+ degree weather that I trashed them. Who wants to see what the garden looked like yesterday when you can see it today! :)
Except for another planting of sweet corn in a couple of weeks, we have everything planted! Hurrah! Changes from last year: two rows of lima beans instead of so many tomatoes and peppers. Otherwise, pretty much the standard. I liked the savoy cabbage so much that we put out more of it. The kale washed out so I'll plant that for a late season crop now.
The best news is that the fruit tree blossoms did not freeze out this year! There are many diseases and pests to deal with between now and fresh tree fruit time, but our trees have small cherries and peaches on them. The apple trees are still in bloom. And not the least danger of frost with this mid-summer weather we've been having. I'd say "enjoying" but honestly, it's a bit too warm for May!
Until next week!
