Nutrition in Amoeba:
1. In this video Nutrition in Unicellular or Single cellular Organisms that is Nutrition in Amoeba and Nutrition in Paramecium are explained.
2. Nutrition in Amoeba occurs in a different way when compare to the other organisms, as it does not contain any special parts like Mouth, arms, legs etc...
3. Amoeba contains Cytoplasm and Nucleus in its body.
4. When amoeba comes near the food the cytoplasm forms finger like structures called Pseudopodia or False feet and engulf the food material.
5. The process occurs as given below;
Ingestion - Intake of Food.
Digestion - Digesting Food.
Absorption - Absorbing the digested food.
Assimilation - Utilizing the absorbed materials.
Egestion - Throwing out the waste material.

Nutrition in Paramecium:
1. Paramecium is also a single cellular Organism but, the Nutrition in this organism is different when compare to Amoeba.
2. Nutrition in Paramecium occurs in a process, when a paramecium comes in contact with food, the body containing hairy structures called Cilia moves food particle to the oral groove which acts as mouth for Paramecium.
3. This food goes inside the buccal cavity and then forms food vacuole .
4. After digestion happens, the waste material is thrown outside the body through the Anal pore.
