Common nouns and Proper nouns are easy to tell apart. A noun can be a person, a place or a thing. A common noun is any normal noun that isn't special or specific. A proper noun is a name or specific noun.
In this Basic English Lesson, when we are done, you will take a test to find common and proper nouns in sentences. This will be your 9th lesson for Grade 5 English Language Arts. Grade 5 English grammar doesn't have to be hard. I'll help you.

I will be teaching the entire Grade 5 English Language Arts curriculum commonly taught in American school. You can use this curriculum for home school or to just prepare for tests in your class.
