Paraglider Kiting Fails first time, I gave up.

Paraglider Kiting Failure. Tired of waiting to train, I pulled out my paraglider to try kiting it. Attempt after attempt fails. With very little success, I tire out quickly and give up. After 2 days, I decide not to try again without instruction. Self training wasn't my intent, I just could not wait to get out there any longer. To all those who self train, I respect your tenacity.
Many things were done wrong. Firstly, I was about 100 feet from trees. Secondly, it was mid day, meaning thermals and the wind was constantly switching direction. Thirdly, I was fighting the wing and not getting under it.
I suggest go get training.
