12 creepy theories about the Universe that will give you nightmares - part 1.
For centuries, philosophers and scientists have tried their best to unlock the secrets of our mysterious Universe. During the 21st-century, several probes were sent into outer space to find out the origins of our existence and the beginning of the universe.

The probes revealed several things which were unknown to us before, but the more we knew, the more it got complicated. Based on the latest information, Experts in the field have come up with new theories on the existence of the universe.

In today's video, we will give you the first part of the "12 creepy theories about the Universe that will give you nightmares". We will start right now.

#1. What was there before the big bang?
According to Stephen Hawking, there was nothing before the big bang. Nothing means a moment without time and space. How long did that period exist? we might never come to know because the time didn't exist. The concept of a timeless moment is in itself very horrible and almost impossible to comprehend.

#2. There is something called a white hole.
In 1964 a Russian cosmologist "Igor Novikov" put forward a theory on the existence of white holes. He suggested that it is a celestial body that is exactly the opposite of a black hole. Unlike a black hole, none can enter a white hole, instead, it emits light and matter. Where do that matter and light come from is something which makes the theory creepy?

#3. How much time do we have?
The time began after the big bang. The expansion of the universe gives us an idea about the passage of time. Some astrophysicists believe that time is accelerating, while some theorize that it is slowing down because we can observe distant celestial bodies as they reflect some light to us. That proves that we are seeing their past and the celestial bodies were moving faster in the past.
If there is even a grain of truth in this theory, that means that somewhere in the future, time will come to halt. How will the universe look at that time, only the time will tell?

#4. The Matrix is Real?
If any of the theories have not creeped you out then this one will. Oxford philosopher "Nick Bostrum" proposed a theory that all of the universe, the celestial bodies, and the physical laws rule the universe, and we human beings are just a simulation generated by very highly advanced and intelligent beings with their infinite computing power. What is your opinion about the matrix theory? Let us know in the comment section.
