Bernie Sanders and Dems are introducing a bill on tuition in higher education. In this episode, I explain why this popular measure is going to worsen the case of healthcare-like crony capitalism.

In short, this leads to the worst of both worlds: Higher cost (direct or indirect via taxation) than a single-payer solution, and higher price than a free market solution (the lack of which is why tuition can’t stop rising). The only ones to benefit will be universities.
