‘Chilling effect’ on freedom of speech

Share your views before they’re edited? Nina Jankowicz, the U.S. Disinformation Governance Board chief, has claimed that ‘trustworthy verified people’ like her should be given the power to edit other users’ posts on Twitter. Twenty attorneys general from conservative states, however, disagree with the suggestion, claiming the Board will have a ‘chilling effect’ on freedom of expression.
