This Hunting Gear tip came from the many times I have hunted Newfoundland. Newfoundland is a very wet and unforgiving climate. When you travel there for any climate what you put on your feet and around your feet is extremely important. One of the things that I have learned in traveling to Newfoundland many times is that knee high rubber boots don't agree with my feet. What I do is pair Meindl waterproof hunting boots with Cabela's Leg Gaiters. This combo keeps my feet dry while being more comfortable on longer hikes.
