Draining flooded food plot with Bobcat mini excavator

April 2021 Southern Illinois land management project, draining a flooded food plot, filling in low spots and grading work with Bobcat mini excavator at Kapper Outdoors. In today's episode we will be continuing where we left off on some land management projects and improvements on this 300 plus acre Southern Illinois farm. Join me in the Bobcat mini excavator and a beautiful, sunny April day as we hopefully with cure this ongoing battle in this flooded and wet food plot. This was another fun project, and sometimes they just go this way, you plug one hole in the dam and 3 more pop open! (figuratively speaking). But I'm certain that today we will finally cure this low and sometimes flooded food plot with some dirt work and ditch work. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more episodes from this excavator 'work' day as well as all of our other Illinois and Western Kentucky land management projects, Kioti tractor projects, food plots, building roads, installing culverts, duck ponds, Bobcat CTL skid steer projects, our old home rehab projects, mini excavator projects, DIY rustic barn wood projects, DIY rustic furniture, DIY rustic home decor, and much more country living adventure! Thank you. Kapper Outdoors, living the dream, one acre at a time.
