This is my bike ride from Santiago to Hostel Chilextremo in the Farellones. Hostal Chilextremo is in the village of Los Chirigües in the Andes mountains of Chile. The bike ride is only 50 kilometers (32 miles) but it was the hardest bike ride of my life. The towards the end, there were 40 switchbacks that were the steepest that I've ever experienced. This was truly an adventure.
