Manila turns campaign posters into plastic bricks

After the end of the May 9 presidential election, city workers took down thousands of campaign posters displayed across towns and suburbs, resulting in a large collection of plastic waste. To do its bid for the environment, a recycling center at Marikina city thought of a new way to upcycle the trash - by converting them into plastic bricks.
