Since 1978, when Mitsubishi Motors introduced the first version of the L200 pickup to the market, the model was consolidated as one of the most robust and capable on the market, with a load capacity of more than one ton.

It did not take long for the pickup to consolidate itself as a sales success globally and be the best-selling Mitsubishi of all time. In Brazil, the model started to be produced at the HPE Automotores plant in 1998 and immediately conquered the market, being the best-selling of its segment in the country in 8 of the next 10 years.

Today, 23 years after the start of national production, the pickup is still Mitsubishi's best-selling vehicle in Brazil, with more than 50% of the total models sold by the company.

Such success is also due to the several summers, special series and limited editions designed by Mitsubishi Motors in Brazil, with a focus on the consumer profile in the country. This is the case of the L200 version Triton Savana, which returns to the Brazilian market in its fourth generation , as model 2022.

The bold look and the aptitude for use in severe off-road are one of the main characteristics of the model. On the outside, the pickup truck is equipped with a graphite-tone snorkel that guarantees the model a capacity of transposition in flooded stretches of up to 700 millimeters, 16.7% more than the traditional L200.

A black luggage compartment with a load capacity of up to 50kg is also present in the model. He carries a stripping board, perfect for extreme off-road situations.

The graphite color finish is still present in the front thrust bumper, rear bumper, door handles, door mirror covers and also in alloy wheels and rim 16. They contrast with the six color options of body: Rally Yellow, Jizan Beige, Baikal Blue, Monaco Red, Fuji White and Forest Green and provide an extremely bold look.

For more capacity on all types of terrain, especially the most challenging ones, the L200 Triton Savana was equipped with Pirelli MTR 255/70 R16 tires, 80% off-road and 20% on-road.

Savana badges were placed on the side of the bucket and also on the rear. The L200 Triton emblem was also finished in graphite color.

The interior of the L200 Triton Savana has seat covers and black panel finish. The multimedia system received an exclusive opening screen for the version, in addition to a glossy black frame. The Savana emblem is present on the right side of the dashboard, right in front of the passenger seat.

All finishing pieces have been carefully developed to maximize the cabin space and provide even more comfort and sophistication on board.

To complete the convenience of everyone on board, the glove compartment has the practical “Push Lock”, which has a lid with a soft opening and easy access also from the driver's side.

The L200 Savana is also equipped with vulcanized rubber mats that help keep the interior of the truck clean after off-road adventures.

The special L200 Triton Savana series brings under the hood the modern 2.4L turbo diesel engine, in aluminum, with 190 hp of power and 43.9 kgfm of torque. It was the first medium-sized pickup truck in the world to use a diesel engine made entirely of aluminum, which reduces weight and helps deliver more performance and fuel economy.

With excellent volumetric dimensioning, the engine has a variable turbine that allows the maximum torque to be delivered almost instantaneously and linearly, at very low revolutions, guaranteeing all the strength for use in severe off-road situations.

The L200 Triton Savana uses the reliable and robust Easy Select traction system, with different driving modes, ideal for every type of situation on and off the road: 4x2, 4x4 and reduced 4x4. Each mode can be easily chosen by the driver, using a selector on the center console.
