US, Japan lock on to Hellfire exercise

September 10, 2013 - U.S. 1-229th Attack Helicopter Battalion, 16th Combat Aviation Brigade AH-64E Apaches and Japanese 3rd Anti-tank Helicopter Battalion AH-64D Apaches conduct a joint Hellfire missile exercise at the Yakima Training Center to test their interoperability. The exercise was part of Operation Rising Thunder, hosted by 7th Infantry Division.
