May 01, 2021 at a top secret property located in far Southern, Illinois, we have a problem to fix! Join me for PART 2 of 2 of this 'bipolar culvert pipe repair!' Today I will take my brand new 2021 Bobcat e42 R series mini excavator on it's first road trip mission to my buddy, Curtis Rogers' property here in Southern Illinois. Curtis attempted to install a culvert pipe in a wet ditch crossing with his Kioti RX6620 tractor and found out how easy it can be to get a tractor stuck! (Wish I had some video of that part!!). Anyway, he was barely able to get his tractor 'un-stuck' but in doing so he literally destroyed the culvert pipe by breaking it in half, puncturing it in many spots, and bending and crimping it to boot. But today, in PART 1, I will work on seeing if I can make it useable and actually work by making a new trail crossing and see if it can still work! There are 2 parts only because this project had a LOT of ups and downs along the way! But I will get PART 2 out very soon after today's episode, I promise! This is all part of land investing, raw land investing and land management when you own property. Of course the bobcat mini excavator is a much better tool than a Kioti tractor for this specific task, but I can't blame Curtis for trying to get the job done! I have installed culverts before with a tractor, and it can be very challenging! Thanks for joining me today, and as always don't forget to hit the like button and share our content if you enjoy it, we really, really appreciate that!
