Lava Cake is a popular and easy dessert that combines the elements of a chocolate cake and a soufflé. Its name derives from the dessert's liquid chocolate center. Lava cake is not just an undercooked cake. It's a unique combination of a traditional chocolate cake and a soufflé. Although the center is liquid, the internal temperature still reaches 160ºF so it is completely safe to eat.

1) Double Boil Your Eggs to Pasteurize them and heat up to 59c
2)Double Boil your sugar, butter and chocolate to melt them together
3)Remove from heat
4)Slowly Pour the egg into the chocolate mix and mix well
5)Add the Flour

Set up the mold by generously applying butter to the interior, to make it easy to remove once baked.

6)Pour into the mold and bake

Bake at 200c/400f for about 9 minutes

Lava Cake is best served warm so add to your plate and serve!
