SPICY & RICH - The GOD OF FIRE Serie B Robusto Tubo - CIGAR REVIEWS by CigarScore

Sometimes we review cigars that are fairly common. Other times, times like today, we review cigars that are somewhat rare and hard to find. Today we're smoking the God of Fire Serie B Robusto Tubo, a cigar you're not likely to see in the humidor of your average cigar lounge.

After removing the God of Fire Serie B from its protective tube, I immediately noticed a premium look and feel to this cigar. The dark oily wrapper was flawless and even the cut at the foot was clean and crisp.

On the cold draw, I tasted lots of cedar. Once lit, the aroma of the smoke was very leathery. Even though I got a nice, clean cut and the draw was good, I wished early that I could get more smoke through the cigar.

Through the middle of the cigar, a crack did develop in the Ecuadorian Sungrown wrapper leaf. However, after removing the first label, the one that said “Serie B” on it, the crack didn't get any worse and never had a negative impact on the smoking experience.

Final Thoughts

I was surprised by this cigar. The God of Fire Serie B Robusto Tubo was bolder, stronger, and spicier than I expected it to be. The flavors were good, and the construction, despite the crack, was also pretty good. And, I'm pleased with how long I was able to enjoy it.

The flavors were cedary and earthy, and every once in a while I tasted some nice creaminess. At the end of the day, this cigar feels and smokes like a luxury cigar, and I'm glad I got to smoke it. For these reasons, the God of Fire Serie B Robusto Tubo earns a CigarScore 5.
