Father gets 3 1/2 - 7 years for protecting his son

6 violent men come to my home at 1:30 in the morning, beat my son viciously. 1 of the 5 surrounding the two on the ground kick my son back to the ground so his buddy can continue over 24 full fisted blows as he laid in a fetal position not fighting back. As he makes it back to his feet, barely able to stand another two blow sucker punched to the head. He stands holding his arm out begging, "Stop, I'm done!" as another blow can be seen. As he is telling the final attacker, "I told you, I'm done!" The final attacker states, "You're not done, I'm going to f***ing KILL you" and father goes animalistic in protection mode.
