Acts Chapter 2

At the time of the beginning of this chapter, we are fifty-three days after the death of Messiah. Messiah died on Passover and the Feast of Weeks (seven sevens) starts fifty days after the Sabbath after the day of Passover.

The Feast of Weeks (Pentecost - which is Greek for 50) came after the death, resurrection, and ascension of Yeshua and Yahweh's people were still celebrating this Feast. Notice that they were all assembled in accordance with the Torah (Ex. 23:15-17).

Why were the people assembled to celebrate the Feast if it is no longer to be celebrated? There is no reference in all of Scripture that says we are not to celebrate the Feast days. The following passages show the tremendous blessings that were bestowed to the people who honored Elohim through this Feast at this time.
