I hope you enjoy my music and photographs. My harp is by Blevins Harps. My Native American-style Flute is by Spirit of the Woods Flutes. When recording the music tracks for this video, I had had my flute for just under two weeks. Its sound, and my playing, were both still developing. All of the photographs and video were taken during many trips to Corn Lake State Park, in Grand Junction, CO, over the course of two months. I went there just to photograph the herons, it is a marvelous place to spend some time, especially early in the morning. My harp piece "The Blue Heron" was written years ago. I wrote "Sunrise Over Corn Lake" especially for this video. For all of you players of Native American Flute, my flute is in the key of Mid-A. It is made of figured claro walnut wood. It is a really beautiful instrument. My harp is a Blevins Consort 36 harp in cherry wood. My music is available at www.blevinsmusic.com, on Sheet Music Plus, Sheet Music Direct and J.W. Pepper.
